So far... I've been ok I guess....?
I learnt quite a few new languages to greet passengers in Polish, Russian, French, Dutch and Portugese. Many passengers are pleasantly happy when i speak to them in their native languages so that makes me happy too i guess.
I've some encounters with fellow TP AMS students at the Airport. Some people I see quite often like Ben Choo, Clive, Sarayutt and Bronson Ng. Some only saw once or twice but still good to see them such as Irsyad, Jason, Daren and Junyi....
Its good to help each other out when we see them too. Such as the case where i had two Portugese passengers who I could not understand through their heavy accent and then they had paper saying they should go where in Portugese which obviously I cant read. Bronson was there to save my day when he stepped in to help. Turns out they two were going to Transfer Counter C. So thanks Bronson! Also we met up after that to explore the Terminal 1 facilities such as the transit hotel blah blah.
Saw Irsyad yesterday.... could only had a short 5 mins chat with him but he need to go off after that.... sighs.
Life also cant be complete without football, of course.
Very much saddened to hear that Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United is going to retire yesterday....
Watched Chelsea FC vs Tottenham Hotspur yesterday where former Chelsea manager Andre Villas Boas goes back to Stamford Bridge. Ended with a 2-2 draw with goals from Oscar after a corner when he turned in a header after another header from Gary Cahill. Spurs equalised through an Emmanuel Adebaayor wonder strike.... before Chelsea took the lead again through Ramires after a fantastic through pass from Fernando Torres. +Spurs then hit back late in hte 80th minute through Gylfi Sigurdsson to make it 2-2.
Also watched the last 30 mins of Real Madrid vs Malaga which ended 6-2. Was 5-2 already when I tuned in. 2 red cards have been shown already to Malaga's Martibn Demichelis and Sergio Sanchez and on form goalkeeper Willy Caballero was taken off in the 42nd minute injured so Malaga was never going to win anyways even though Cristiano missed. Still managed to catch a wonderful goal from Angel Di Maria though in the 90th minute to make it 6-2. The other scorers in the match were Albiol, Cristiano, Ozil, Benzema and Modric for Real and Santa Cruz and Antunes for Malaga.
Ok... going to work later. 2nd last day on ground before heading off to management office next week.... wish me luck and i hope i get a KLM flight!

BORUSSIA DORTMUND TO THE FINAL
Okay been a while since I've posted!
I'm a happy man today... although I have to work on Labour Day...
Because....
BORUSSIA DORTMUND IS IN THE FINAL OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WOULD COME
It was a nervy 2nd leg match though, with Real Madrid winning 2-0, through Benzema and Sergio Ramos goals in the 82nd minute and 88th minute, to make the final 13 minutes inclusive of the 5 minute injury time very tense for me!! in the first 20 mins, Real knocked on our door and we were not settled. Thankfully, we re-organised to hold them while making some attacks on our own. However, our finishing did let us down, also with some great saves from Diego Lopez.
Still, we won the tie 4-3 on aggregate, thanks to our 4-1 aggregate victory a week ago. Robert Lewandowski made headlines with his 4 goal blitz on Madrid ( 8', 50', 55', 67' (pen)). While Cristiano equalised in the 43 minute, our team really turned on in the 2nd half and outclassed our opponents completely.
Anyway, Bayern lead 4-0 against Barcelona in the other tie. They are playing at the Camp Nou tonight, and Bayern would be the more likely opponent in the final. And lo, we are going to play Bayern this weekend already!
This Borussia Dortmund Champions League campaign has been incredible. Though today the defeat against Madrid meant that we lose our unbeaten record in this season's Champions League, its still brings pleasant memories, especially this match:
Borussia Dortmund 3-2 Malaga CF (Lewandowski 40' Reus 90+1', Felipe Santana 90+3' ; Joaquin 25', Eliseu 82')
I experienced all the emotions a football fan goes through in just a game. Joy, sadness, excitement, anger. Woah....
Anyways..... internship have been okay so far... hate the day day night night break break shift schedule. It sucks though. Now i really miss the days at Police Academy, with Mr Teo Chun Ping and Mr Sarjit, Mr Kumar and Mr Panier. And i do miss some of my classmates at the Academy already..... and not to mention my classmates from school....
I still meet some of my classmates from time to time at the Airport and also when i went back to crash the AMS Camp 2013.
Okay... off to work at Terminal 1, Changi Airport later, fresh from the joy of my team reaching the UEFA Champions League Final!

1st week of internship
So yeap, have been going to the Old Police Academy at Thomson Road for Cisco courses for this week for the start of my internship....
Mr Sarjit Singh was a good trainer, quite strict... but still good.... and Mr Teo Chun Ping... my fellow interns at TP says he talk a lot... super boring.... but.... he actually quite nice leh... i feel....
anyway, stupid internship comes with a stupid logbook. must write weekly summary of tasks and reflection and get supervisor to sign.... what the hell lah sighs.
Too bad i didnt manage to catch the Champions League matches between Paris St Germain vs Barcelona, which ended 2-2, Messi scoring first, then followed by an equaliser by Ibrahimovic, Xavi restored Barca's lead through a penalty before Blaise Matuidi equalised in the dying seconds. Bayern also beat Juventus 2-0 through David Alaba long range strike in 35 seconds and Thomas Muller at 63 mins. Buffon was at fault for both goals, which later Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer criticised Buffon for looking like a pensioner in the match. Harsh. Anyway, Toni Kroos was injured in the 16th minute, he was doing a good job against Andrea Pirlo, who was anonymous in the match. For PSG vs Barca, David Beckham covered 6km during the match, more than any other player, and hes 37 years old! Respect!
Next day, did catch Champions League Action. It was Malaga vs Borussia Dortmund. Marco Reus, Mario Gotze, Robert Lewandowski all disappointed for us, as the match ended 0-0. Their goalkeeper Willy Caballero made several good saves from us though. In the other match, Real Madrid beat Galatasary 3-0, where Jose squared off against his former players Drogba and Sneijder and Hamit Altintop, through Cristiano 9', Benzema 29' and Higuain 73'.
Well, had a test this week. and i got 96/100... lol... so close to full marks.....
And now, need to practise some scripts for the Oral assessment....
And also... today Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund faced Augsburg. We named a much changed side to rest players for the return leg against Malaga. This was our lineup: Mitchell Langerak, Marcel Schemlzer, Neven Subotic, Felipe Santana, Kiven Grosskreutz (yes, Grosskreutz playing rightback today), Nuri Sahin, Sven Bender, Leonardo Bittencourt, Mortiz Leitner, Jonas Hoffmann, Julian Schieber.
We took the lead through Julian Schieber in the 22' minute. But some defensive mistakes by BVB let Augsburg score 2 goals in 30 seconds to take a 2-1 lead just before the half time, and we booed the team off the pitch. in the 2nd half, Jurgen Klopp sent on Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze for Moritz Leitner and Leonardo Bittencourt. This works out pretty well as less than 1 minute later, an assist by Lewandowski saw Julian Schieber getting his brace and equaliser in the 52th minute. We took the lead through neven Subotic in the 64th minute, and with just 19 seconds to go before the match ended, Robert Lewandowski scored to continue his record for scoring in 10 consecutive Bundesliga games.
And no surprises, Bayern wrapped up the title with a 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt through Bastian Schweinsteiger backheel in the 52th minute. David Alaba missed a penalty early in the game. Whatever it is,. I congratulate Bayern, they were too strong for us this season. And now, its time for German teams to refocus on our Champions League return legs!!!
Anyways, also saw pictures on troll football of Mirko Vucinic celebrating one of his 2 goals (dunno which) against Pescara by taking his shorts off. haha, smart guy, since referees cant give a yellow card for that, only can give to ppl taking off shirts (stupid rule anyway). well, i bet FIFA gonna take action and write a new rule?
Ok whatever it is.. gotta sleep soon... gotta play football tomorrow.

Beyond 20 years old....
Alright... lots of things have happened over this past week where I have not returned for blogging....
Starting from 21 March 2013, my 20th birthday.
I only went to sleep like 2am in the morning, but couldnt get any sleep. I woke up at 8am.... and played a bit on my computer... before going out to Mountbatten Road opposite SOTA to meet with a long lost tuition friend Mr Teo Yi Teng. He picked me up there in his BMW (WOAH!) and we went to Central, where he brought me to Santouka Ramen for lunch where I mentioned to him the day before I was craving ramen. He treated me to the meal and after that had a long chat at Clarke Quay to catch up since the last time I saw him was 3 years ago, to watch Avatar! Really thanks, Yi Teng, I will forever remember and appreciate this!! Dont run away... because it will be my turn to celebrate your 21st birthday on 21 January! Hey you are exactly 2 months older than me! hahaha.
And then, Yi Teng had to go to the West to pick up his girlfriend... so I went to Katong I12, where my classmate Sarayutt Koh also treated me to coffee at this cafe called Baci. I asked him for stronger coffee since I was really tired, and he did so. He also gave me some key chains as presents. Thanks for the thought Sara!
After that, went home for a while, before going to Simpang for dinner with Wen Pin, Jin Yong, Ibrahimovic, Darwin and Erwin, whom's birthday we were also celebrating. The dinner was horrible though I did not mention to any of my friends that I disliked the food. There, they gave me a present, which was a jacket and a pair of track pants. Thanks guys. After that, ibrahimovic had to leave bcos he was packing up for some cruise trip to dont know where. So the rest of us went to Vie Bar to have some beer, where we were joined by the little boy aka Javier Goh. So thanks too, little boy, for actually bothering to come down after your whatever late meeting at school. haha.
So after that 3 outings in 1 day, the most I ever had, and the first ever time to go out on my birthday, I went home to watch Khazakstan vs Germany for World Cup Qualifiers. Germany took control of the game quickly, with 2 goals in 2 minutes. The first of them came in the 20 minute, from Bastian Schweinsteiger (although others might say it was Thomas Muller who deflected the ball in) and our very own Borussia's Gotze who doubled our advantage in the 22 minute. After that, it was quite a boring game and even saw Khazakstan threatening until the 74th minute where Thomas Muller popped up to seal the 3 points for Germany.
Nothing significant for the next few days though, me playing Football Manager 2011 at home, going work on Saturdays.... and then the return leg for Germany vs Khazakstan, at the Stadion Nuremberg.
I was extremely delighted with Marco Reus, Mario Gotze and Ilkay Gundogan, our very own BVB players, who weighed in goals in the 23 minute, 27th minute and the 32nd minute respectively as Germany controlled the game for the first half, with it ending 3-0 to us. However, Khazakstan seemed rejuvenated for the second half, and the stupid Manuel Neuer decided to dribble the ball past 2 defenders after also a rather poor backpass from Per Mertesacker resulted in Schmidtgal, who plays for Greuther Furth, to make it 3-1. Throughout the game, Germany kept hitting the woodwork, like maybe 800 times in the match, with the Khazakstan goalkeeper A. Sidlenikov displaying great heroics for Khazakstan by keeping Germany to the 3 goals.... until Marco Reus popped up with a 90th minute goal to make it 4-1.
That sums up the international break for us.
And then the next morning, went to school at 12pm for a briefing regarding our internship, where we had a face to face meeting with our supervisor Mr Priveen. I was very disappointed, though, during the meeting, where we only then found out we had to go for this up your service course, when no one ever mentioned to us before we had to go! Now, more on that next time.
Nothing else for the next day, which was Thursday. Then it was Good Friday. While the Christians mourn the death of Jesus Christ, we non-Christians played football at St Wilfred Sports Complex with my fellow Marists. I was contented with my performance that day.
Then Saturday comes, where Borussia Dortmund played VFB Stuttgart at the Mercedes Benz Arena. Hope Marcel Schmelzer can recover soon, after a high boot by Martin Harnik took out his nose, where he had to be taken off and he was replaced by Lukasz Piszczek, where he was originally rested. A free kick by Marco Reus soon after in the 23rd minute saw Piszczek though coming in to head the ball home. 1-0! Stuttgart tried to kick our players off the pitch throughout till the end of the first half. At the 2nd half, they came back battling and found a goal back through Alexandru Maxim in the 63th minute. However, a red card to GeorgNiedermeier in the 69th minute gave us a chance to win the game, where Robert Lewandowski fired in his 20th goal of the season in the 82nd minute, thus extending his club record too of scoring in consecutive Bundesliga games, and we delayed the Bayern title party by a week.
Woke up today though, to get ready for our company auction, and later I found out from my cousin that Bayern had thrashed Hamburg SV 9-2.... Claudio Pizarro scored 4 goals, with Robben having 2 and Shaqiri, Schweinsteiger and Ribery being the other scorers. Jeffrey Bruma and Heiko Westermann scoring for Hamburg....
So after auction, went home to rest for a while, before meeting up with Wen Pin for a catch up at I12 Katong.
And now, internship will start soon, for me, tomorrow. And I havent found out how to get to my reporting place tomorrow yet... die....

1st post... as an adult
Ok.... so yes... birthday today.... nothing much so far.... except that i know that i am no longer a teenager....
Usually around this time there will be a few birthday posts on my facebook wall.... this time round.... theres zero...... =(
As usual, just wanted to live a carefree life before today... i am glad i did.
Until yesterday 20 March which is just now actually.... i went to Certis Cisco office at Changi Airport Terminal 2 for internship briefing....... found out i have a classmate, Ain, doing this internship with me. The others Aloysius, Tamimi and another guy i dont know whom are from P1004.
Yes, so have to go to the Airport around 3pm, reached there about 2.45pm...... went into the office, where i was welcomed by Mr Vincent, who will be our supervisor for our internship for the next 6 months.... and also Mr Abbas will be our lecturer supervisor also....
Mr Vincent seemed quite nice, on first impression, so good so far. And Ms Mandy also.... Mr Vincent conducted a briefing for our internship and then Ms Mandy checked our Airport pass application form and our application form for the internship..... We all have some homework to do... pay some administrative cash and so on.... which i dont feel like doing now....
Ok... so internship will start exactly April Fools Day where we will have to start a course at the Police Academy... seems very far from my house.... and have to get there at 830am...... woah.... that sounds like my waking up time for secondary school..... yays....
Well.... i guess this sums up my first post as an adult...

A Great weekend... hope for a great week ahead...
Lol... I know when I am writing this, its already in the wee hours of Tuesday Morning.....
But then..... i really do hope for a great week ahead.... as its my birthday week.... as this day inches closer.... only 2 days away.....
I really hope I can have a lot of birthday presents, just like other people normally do... but then.... nobody really cares about my birthday, do they? Last year had my first celebration for my birthday though.... although i didnt really like the present my friends shared for me, but still, i appreciated that and just went on to complete the present, which is to fix up a Messerschmitt Bf-109 F model kit....
I really hope I do not get model kits this time, as I really have a lot more model kits at home waiting for me to start work... so another 1 from my friends would really hinder what I want to do....
Anyway, whatever it is.... it was a great weekend of football because almost all the results were mostly what I wanted.... except Barcelona winning Rayo Vallecano of course..... and Bayern Munchen winning Bayer Neverkusen 2-1 at the BayArena....
But then, first up on Saturday, Man Shitty lost to Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park. Man Shitty lined up in an unfamiliar 3-4-3 formation..... and when Everton took the lead through Leon Osman, and my, its a wonderful goal!!! Then Steven Pienaar our former Borussia Dortmund player got red carded. (What? Seriously? Stupid Javi Garcia was play-acting!!). Whatever it is, Man Shitty pressed forward, didnt get anything, cresit to Jan Mucha the Everton goalkeeper for keeping the score at 1-0. And in the dying minutes of the game.... a counter attack was pearheaded by Marouanne Fellaini, who squared the ball to Nikica Jelavic to finish off the game at 2-0! AWESOME!!!
If that was not good enough, Borussia Dortmund later romped to aa 5-1 victory over Freiburg at the Wesfalenstadion!!! We did not get off to a good start though, where Jonathan Schmid drew first blood for Freiburg in the 28th minute to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. However, Borussia Dortmund controlled the game after that, and 4 minutes before, the break, we had 3 goals in that 4 minutes, first from Lewandowski at 41', then Nuri Sahin at 44', and Lewandowski again at 45' to send BVB 3-1 up at the break! After the break, we continued our assault by Lewandowski and Gotze and Reus did waste some good chances, before Nuri Sahin sends a great left volley to get his brace and send BVB 4-1 up! Leonardo Bittencourt who came on as a substitute in the 77th minute rounded off the win when he scored just 1 minute after he came on!
And after the BVB game finished, I was absolutely pleasant to see that Loserpool were down to Southampton 2-1!!!!! Morgan Schneiderlin and Rickie Lambert scoring in the 6 and 33 minute of the game. Philippe Countinho scored just before the break to make it 2-1. Loserpool werent playing well, oh well they are losers anyways.... and that frustration also translate into their performance especially when stupid racist and cheat Luis Suarez tries to block Artur Boruc from taking a kick, and promptly got yellow carded. Jay Rodriguez rounded off the score at 3-1 in the 80th minute, CONGRATZ SOUTHAMPTON!!!!!
Other results going my way also included Real Madrid coming back to win 5-2 against Mallorca when they recovered twice from being a goal down, where Luka Modric scores a sspectacular long range effort. And also Manchester United opening up a 15 point gap between the 2 Manchester clubs in the title race with a 1-0 win against Reading through Rooney's 21st minute goal.
Yeap, great weekend of football results anyway! Hahaha, great birthday present from BVB yeah! Hope Germany can do well against Khazakstan in the World Cup qualifiers this week too!
So, on Sunday, played football with friends again. And was more happy with my performance this time round compared to last week disastrous performance.
Nothing much really happened for this week so far, just playing my steam games and also preparing some important documents which I need to bring along for my Certis Cisco briefing scheduled on Wednesday. Hope it goes well...!
Hope Germany can do well against Khazakstan in the World Cup qualifiers this week too!

the past week... and the last week.... to.... an adult
Yeah, soon I will be an adult..., well this past week what i've done nothing much new really.... just sitting around olazily around the house, leading a carefree life, after all its my last week as a 19 year old... next week... i am gonna be an adult..... *weeps*
The 142nd Revierderby over the weekend was a disappointment ..... my beloved Borussia Dortmund fell 2-1 to Schalke at the Veltins Arena.... Julian Draxler opened the scoring in the 12th minute, and then Klass Jan Huntelaar doubled their advantage in the 35th minute. Robert Lewandowski 60th minute strike just proved no more than a consolation....
So, that was on Saturday, March 9.... a loss to Schalke... then Sunday i played a shit game for football.... and i am so mad at myself..... wtf. i wasnt even playing properly.... with Ibrahimovic and the team.... i felt like i let them down.... seriously.....
So after that, monday, tuesday flew past..... but on wednesday, my classmates Bronson, irsyad, Chongyang and Jason who happened to be jogging at East Coast Park (BOJIO) called me to ask if they could come to Thaipan.... i got the timing wrong for Thaipan closing hours.... thanks to the stupid voucher making me think it closes at 11pm when it closes at 10pm..... so its 940pm they reach the underpass near my house.... then have to break the bad news to them.... so i brought them to Siglap Food Centre which is beside NTUC.... and had dinner.
And then, it was football, where Bayern Munchen took on Arsenal for the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League. Arsenal surprisingly defeated Bayern. Olivier Giroud gave Arsenal the lead in the 3rd minute.... and then it was Arsenal all along... Arsene Wenger had dropped Thomas Vermaelen and Wojciech Szczesny from the lineup and was missing Jack Wilshere and Lukas Podolski through injury. However, for the first time this year Arsenal defence really looked solid with Kieran Gibbs, Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Carl Jenkison doing well to keep Bayern at bay. Bayern are without Ribery but had still had Robben, who was marshalled well throughout by Arsenal defence. Even the goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski had a commanding game. Gervinho could have made the score 1-0 in the 82nd minute but wasted his chance. Then Arsenal's 2nd goal came through Laurent Koscielny who powered a header from Santi Carzola's corner. A scuffle broke out (lol) as Manuel Neuer didnt want to give the ball to Arsenal.... Bayern had a nervy game... and Theo Walcott threatened and made Bayern defence look nervy until he was substituted in the 72th minute by Alex Oxlaide Chamberlain. Nevertheless, Bayern still held out for a 2-0 loss for a 3-3 aggregate draw, going through to the quarter finals on away goals.
In the other UEFA Champions League games for the week, Barcelona romped AC Milan 4-0 at Camp Nou..... to comeback from a 2-0 defeat at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and win 4-2 on aggregate. Galatasary won 3-2 at the Veltins Arena to win 4-3 on aggregate, and Malaga win Porto 2-0 to win 2-1 on aggregate....
So the Champions League quarter finals draw: results are
Malaga vs Borussia Dortmund
Paris St Germain vs FC Barcelona
Real Madrid CF vs Galatasary
FC Bayern Munchen vs Juventus
Oh well.... and then I bought some steam games, Battlestations Midway, Battlefield 2 and Call of Duty: World At War.... and just playing my heart out.....
Sighs... tomorrow will be work.... and my last day at work as a teenager....
